Because of the fragile nature of carbide drill bits they have really been impractical for use in drilling beams. The CSDIII1050 is the world’s first drill designed specifically to run carbide drill bits. The result is dramatically faster drilling up to 3 times faster than old-fashioned conventional drilling.
